3D Logistik har været så heldige, at vi har haft besøg af en udvekslingsstudent fra Australien - Merry. Efter endt besøg, har hun skrevet nedenstående. Vi takker Merry for besøget.

Hej, my name is Merry and from the 6^th to the 10^th of June 2011 I had the privilege of being let inside the 3D Logistik company to try things out and see all of the hard work that goes behind working in such a high stress environment. I am an exchange student from Perth, Australia who has been given the amazing opportunity to live in Denmark for a whole year as a high school student. As a part of the program, during the exam period each exchange student who is not participating in school exams instead has to complete 2 to 3 weeks of unpaid work or community service. 

Through some connections to the 3D Logistik company I was able to spend one of my three weeks in the main office in Kolding. Each day I was working with different departments and learning how the groups collaboratively work together to create seamless end results. 

For the first few days I learnt how the basic delivery system works with the 3D National team. I was able to contact drivers and give them information regarding the whereabouts of the next parcel, track each truck around Denmark using new technology and sort through various booking orders.

The next team, 3D Medical, taught me how important it is to document each product that enters Denmark from Germany and the strict regulations that the different types of medicine need to be kept under. I also got the chance to visit the state of the art medical warehouse and collect orders.

Lastly I got to work with the 3D International and 3D Express teams. These departments were constantly under pressure to organise delivering goods to the customers but I still got to help out here too.

Overall my week was one in which I learnt a lot and most importantly I also had fun at the same time. Many thanks to the whole 3D Logistik team for allowing me to understand what goes on behind the scenes in a courier company.

3D Logistik har nedenstående information omkring kørsel i Kr. Himmelfarts ferien.

3D Logistik har tidligere holdt lukket ”dagen-efter-kr..Himmelfartsdag”. For at imødekomme kunders ønsker, holder 3D Logistik nu åbent fredag, den 03.06.2011

·   Torsdag, den 02.06.2011 er Kr. Himmelfartsdag. Denne dag er officiel helligdag og 3D Logistik holder lukket.
·   Fredag, den 03.06.2011 (”dagen-efter-Kr.Himmelfart”) holder 3D Logistik åben. Dog vil vor sammedags-koncept blive afløst af ”dag-til-dag” levering.
